Last night: Say it Ain’t So

Today was our final full day in Iceland after an amazing two-week adventure, and we spent it soaking up every last bit of magic this country has to offer.

We stayed in Reykjavik and revisited some of our favorite spots around the city before heading to the Sky Lagoon, which was, honestly, the perfect way to end our trip. The lagoon is nestled right up against the ocean, so as we relaxed in the warm waters we watched seals and seabirds drift by. Pure Icelandic serenity.

We did the Date Night Package, which included a 7-step relaxation ritual, think saunas, cold mist rooms, scrubs, and more, followed by a delicious local charcuterie board. It was perfect.

Afterwards, we wandered through the city and made it to our favorite ice cream shop (maybe for the 5th time on this trip).

Now we’re attempting to fit all our stuff, plus a few extras back into our bags. Thankfully, we don’t fly out until tomorrow evening, so we’ll have a relaxed morning and afternoon before heading to the airport.
